In this episode I explore the psychology of the comment section. There is a statistical and probabilistic explanation for the type of people and comments one will encounter. I explore our evolutionary nature in terms of higher disposition towards negative information as well as the lack of physical and social cost to saying vitriolic comments online. I discuss an excellent documentary called the Social Dilemma by Tristan Harris and the implications of technological advance the film brings up. Finally I showcase some of my “favorite” comments let’s say.
